You've heard me rave about the exercise classes at the Rec Center and our Pool---Zumba and AquaZumba, Yoga, Chair Yoga, and Tai Chi, and our soon-to-be spiffed-up gym for strength training.
Game Day, on May 20th, was a smashing success with refreshments and a half dozen kinds of games. This should be a regular event, right?! What was your favorite game, or do you have a suggestion for one to add?
Pool parties, little ones at our pool or big ones at the Rec Center, are all great, especially when Slappy provides the music! There was a Memorial Day party, and there will be one on the Fourth before the Rec pool is shut for renovation.
Mother's Day, 5/8, and Father's Day, 6/20, have their own luncheons, and the mothers had a fashion show too!
June 16th is Karaoke and Make A Sundae. Nothing says summer like ice cream, right?
The field trip will be the Big Easy Casino excursion on 6/24. Get lucky!
The ongoing Bingo Nights are 6/6, 7/11, 8/1, and 9/5. There's a reason this is a repeat event---FUN!
Elizabeth Steinman will be the guest speaker on 6/25, sharing her grandparents' Holocaust survival stories.
And there will be more. Come and share the good times!
